Set in New York City at the turn of the century and based on a true story, Disney’s Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teenaged “newsies,” who dreams only of a better life far from the hardship of the streets.

We had a little Newsies preview party this weekend in our home and the movie is great!!! I am a big Broadway fan so I didn’t expect less than great, but it was nice to share the love of music, dance and story with my kids. We might have some future Broadway stars!
