1. Publix Takes Competitors Coupons.
2. On B1G1, use two coupons (you are getting two items.)
3. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price (In FL you do have to buy both items. Check with your local store, though) Please note, my calculations are for stores that DO NOT double coupons buying two items.
4. Always combine store and mfr coupons when you can (even a store coupon from a competitor store.)
5. Many Publix locations double manufacturer coupons that are $.50 or less (Tallahassee and most FL locations do not!)
6. Some Publix sales start Wednesday to Tuesday, others are Thursday to Wednesday. Call your local Publix for their sale dates.

*Sadly, I do not see any competitor $/$$ coupons you can use. If you know of any, please comment below.

I just started couponing and am confused about how you combine coupons. Are there certain ones you can combine? Do certain stores let you? I tried to combine 2 different huggies coupons at walgreens and it didnt work

youreveningsky, you can only have one coupon for each item. you can have two coupons for each item only when you have a store (or competitor) coupon and a MFR coupon. You can not combine 2 MFR coupons for one item. Does this make sense?

So I am confused can you use a food lion store coupon at publix?

Hope – Yes, Publix takes competitor coupons! Isn’t that great!

FYI, if you live in Tallahassee you cannot use Food Lion coupons at Publix. Food Lion is no longer in town, thus they are no longer a competitor, (I’ve also asked twice about this). Has anyone had any luck using Food Lion coupons here?

Tally girl, this is not the case for my publix. Bannerman publix takes food lion coupons.

If I have a coupon for a Target brand item, can I use the same coupon for a Publix brand item?

dizzyx3, i do not see why not, but sometimes target coupons do vary on store. in my city some publix stores take target coupons and others do not. try it out – it can not hurt.

I saw your publix list and it said you used a walgreen’s coupon for $2 off garnier shampoo at publix but when I tried to do the same thing today, my publix refused to take my Walgreen’s coupon, they said they only take other grocery store, not pharmacy coupons. Is that correct or are they telling me incorrectly? Thanks! LOVE this website!

Jennifer, while Publix does take competitor coupons, they do have a choice as to wether they will take or not take some coupons. My publix will take it because Walgreen is across the stree and I can go get the shampoo over there.
