The set includes 725+ pieces, including colorful K’NEX parts, green video camera car, orange alternate car, motor and track. Follow the color-coded instructions to build this exciting thrill ride step-by-step, complete with motorized chain lift. Then, record in-ride footage using the green car with built-in camera, or record 3rd-person footage by replacing the green car with the orange alternate car. Seven mounting points on the model can be used to secure the camera for close-up, fly by shots. Footage easily downloads to a computer using the supplied USB cable.

Yesterday, Is shared with you a recipe for Homemade Play Dough. For my visual learners,  my daughter and I made the play dough and wanted to share a little video with you. Check out the Frugal Coupon Living Play Dough Video.

We added vanilla and purple (red/blue) food coloring to the water. A lot of fun.

Play Dough

2 c. flour
1 cup salt
2 cups water (if you want to color it, add a few drops to the water BEFORE mixing)
4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tablespoons cooking oil
Mix dry ingredients in saucepan add liquid. Cook over medium heat until the mixture pulls from the side and forms dough. Knead for several minutes. Keep in air tight container in fridge. This will make a lot! Cut recipe in 1/2 or 1/4 to make less.

My daughter and I made the play dough today. We added vanilla and green food coloring t0 the water. A lot of fun.

Bubble Mix
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup dishwashing liquid
1 tsp salt
Combine well, but do this gently. To make even better bubbles, add one teaspoon of glycerin.

Finger Paints
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
5-8 drops food coloring
Combine all in saucepan. Simmer over medium heat until the mixture thickens. Cool and stir before using.

Play Dough
2 c. flour

Peanut Butter Play Dough
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
2 cups powdered sugar
In a bowl mix all ingredients together with your hands. Dough should feel soft and pliable. Shape into the forms of your choice. You can be creative and use cookie cutters.
