I love Disney movies, and Pinocchio is one of my favorites. The movie is about a wood carver named Geppetto who creates a wooden puppet, which he named Pinocchio. A blue fairy brings Pinocchio to live and tells him he can become a real boy if he proves he can be brave, truthful and unselfish. His journey to become a real boy isn’t easy, though. He is tempted along the way by unsavory characters, and he is convinced to join Stromboli’s puppet show, despite the objections of his conscience, Jiminy Cricket. And, the more Pinocchio lies, the longer his nose grows.

I love that the theme of this movie is telling the truth. That is a huge thing for kids to learn as early as possible. We don’t have this movie yet, so I’m totally grabbing this for our movie collection!
