Many of you have asked me how I organize my coupons.

I keep my weekly fliers (Red Plum, Proctor & Gamble, Smart Source) in a binder (I DO NOT cut the coupons from my fliers UNLESS they are needed.) My fliers are organized from newest to oldest.

On each flier, I write the date on the top (this is important because when you refer back to coupons, you do not want to have to search for the flier that came out November 23.)

All the coupons that I cut (internet, mailers, etc.) I put in an accordian organizer (thank you Rachel for telling me where to locate this cute folder-Walmart.)
Inside my accordian organizer, I have an envelope for each store. I place coupons I need for that week in that store’s envelope. For example, if I need a Revlon coupon at CVS that week, I put it in the CVS envelope. My ECBS, RRs, giftcards all stay with in their stores envelope.

I also have a binder for Publix fliers. Always get more than one when you see Publix advertise one of these fliers. These fliers are usually found in the front of the store on a card board stand (special season offer) or on the rotating stand found in the middle of the foyer at Publix.

Lastly, I keep all of my stuff organized in a bag. This bag stays in my car so I have access to coupons if needed.

“Hot dawg, how’d you do that?” were the words echoed behind me today in the Publix checkout line….followed by “Can you teach my wife to do that?”

I sure can, new friend, in the Publix line. Welcome to my website.

P&G Coupon Book with $50 purchase

How hard is it it spend $50 (before coupons) on Proctor and Gamble products in one month? Not hard at all! Especially if you frequent CVS and Walgreens. The CVS sales alone (from Dec 21 and 22-similar to the Thanksgiving sales where the items are free after ECBs) should help you spend $50 on P&G products. Anyway, Proctor and Gamble has a new deal that starts Monday. If you spend on $50 in P&G products they will send you a coupon book worth $120 in savings.

Basically what you do is purchase your products. Keep your receipts. Circle the P&G products that total $50. Print and submit the form and your receipts. Finally, wait for your $120 coupon book. Products must be purchased between 12/14/2008 and 1/31/2009 (so no going back and hunting through those old receipts, ladies.) Check it out Here.

Even better, a P&G coupon insert comes out in Sunday’s paper to make that $50 purchase even better. Honestly, ladies, you can get this coupon book for spending only a couple dollars post coupons. Special thanks to Lane and Danielle for this deal!

You have 2 more days to get the Entertainment book for $10. This book retails for $25 but Walgreens has a coupon for $10 off. If you spend $25 (before coupons) you get $5 RRs. Thus the Entertainment book will only be $10. I bet that there are coupon in the book that are worth more than $10.

Many people wonder why or even how I do what I do. Not too long ago, my 90 year old aunt trippled a 30 year old coupon. The coupon had no expiration date. I do what I do because it is in the blood.

More Buddies Johnson’s Soaps deals. Go here for a $3/3 coupon. Use your back button to print twice. Get 6 bars of Johnson’s Buddies Soap (priced very close to $1) for very little money.

Also, I have read that once the soap is done, don’t throw away the little mesh bags they come in. They are great for scrupping stains out of clothes and other items.
