From now until Christmas Eve, there is a new coupon out each day for a FREE item at Vons/Safeway. You have to spend a $20 minimum (usually before coupons) to use these coupons.
You should be able to still use a manufacturer coupon on top of the Vons coupon, for instance, on the 16th you could use the Vons coupon and then the $1.00 off 2 from 12/6 RP if you buy 2.
