Money-Saving Advice from an Experienced Mom

This post is sponsored by Luvs, but all opinions are my own

Can you remember the judgments you made before kids… the “I will never” statements and declarations you vowed to stay true? For example, I remember stating, “I will never give my child(ren) a pacifier.” I laugh at my pre-judgmental self now because after the first night, child number one got a paci. In fact, all three of my kids had pacifiers, and each child has a pacifier longer a life than the previous kid. I am holding on to my 13 month old’s pacifiers probably with as tight a grip as he is! Though he is over one year, I am not ready to get rid of them. I am currently on bed rest, expecting twins soon. Though, their nursery might not be ready, they already have their pacifiers purchased. I mean who plans that much ahead with child #4 and #5? Certainly not I, but when it came to the pacifiers I did.

Speaking of that judgmental mother, before motherhood. I remember expecting my first child and stockpiling on the most expensive diapers…. I mean mamas, we all know what ends up in those things. Regardless, I wanted my child to be surrounded by soft cotton, to make the outside environment of my womb feel as friendly and safe as the inside. It ought that was only created through buying the most expensive diaper. Now, I just consider it a blessing if my child has a dry and someone clean diaper!

I’m Madly In “Luv” – And It’s Not Breaking the Bank!

Would you like to save this?

We'll email this post to you, so you can come back to it later!

This season especially, our wallets feel the pain of the shopping for the holidays. Gifts have to be bought, our fridge has to be stocked, and let’s not forget the necessities of life that are not even related to the season. You can still cover your child in the comfort of a soft, super absorbing diaper, without having to spend a pretty penny on your diapers. Luvs is a great value – with quality leak protection, giving your baby the coziness they need and is easy on your wallet. Check out your favorite retailer to stock up with their new even lower prices and save money on your family’s “needs” so you can spend money on your family’s “wants.” What’s not to Luv about that?

As a mom of five kids, I now consider myself a professional – after all, I have my own daycare (no, it might not be licensed, and yes all the children might be related to me!) This experienced mom knows that I don’t have to trust something because it cost more, I trust something because it works! Take for example, Luvs. Did you know: Luvs, with NightLock Plus, locks away wetness faster than Huggies Snug & Dry. No need for the baby to cry out at 5 am because they are wet, maybe only because they are hungry. Now that you know more – why spend more?!

We all know that the experienced mom is confident, loves to save money, and doesn’t sway in the face of external pressures to be a perfect mom. Yes, sometimes she doesn’t get out of her pajamas, she absolutely loves her coffee or caffeine and she isn’t afraid to laugh. After all, motherhood is messy, and it’s better to embrace these moments with humor than wallow in them with despair.

Embrace “experienced motherhood” with me ladies – Live, Learn and Get Luvs…. at even lower prices.
