Veggie Tales is a brand that emulates the spiritual and moral fabric of society through creative media. Their videos give you the desire put everything aside, and sit and watch these educational, wholesome, and hilarious set of veggies solve their way through every day lessons.

We LOVE Veggie Tales at my house. So far our favorite is God Made You Special and Sweetpea Beauty (having two girls!)  It’s about the importance of focusing on inner beauty over external beauty.  All of their movies are wonderful and have such great messages.  We also love singing all the songs with Bob and Larry!

Did you know that there are 42 DVDs in the collection?  I can remember when the first DVDs began coming out. Of that collection some that I didn’t know about (well, a lot I didn’t know about from my days of baby sitting!) are Tomato Sawyer and Huckleberry Larry’s Big River Rescue or their newest one (right in time for Christmas): It’s a Meaningful Life – about being content.  The collection also includes the 4-DVD Set of the Complete Silly Song Collection – great fun for the car or dancing around the house with the kids!

Big Idea Productions launched Veggie Tales in 1993 with Where’s God when I’m S-Scared? and now, 17 years later, they have 42 DVDs and are recognized by kids and parents everywhere.

    My boys and I watched The Pirates who don’t do anything today, they love it so much. My oldest laughs hysterically when the remote control car drops the keys on the guard’s head. I also love Lord of the Beans.

    We bought Toy Story 3 and It’s a Meaningful Life on the same day. My 3 year-old tossed Toy Story 3 in the cart and clung to Veggie Tales. Then when it was time to watch one, he insisted on Veggie Tales, even tho he loves Woody and Buzz!!! Larry beat em all! :–)

    We have the “Sing Alongs: I Can Be Your Friend” DVD and we listen to the VT in the car (constantly). It’s commonplace to have the jingles stuck in my head for days at a time. And, with #4 on the way, I know we will be bunking up with the VT’s for a long time to come. Thanks! :)

    God Made You Special — Thank you for all your special offers. I have a special, special request for the Veggie Tales series for my two granddaughters, ages 1 and 3. The one-year-old has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma (cancererous tumor on the right adrenal gland/kidney). The “God Made You Special” Veggie Tales would be so appropriate for this young families current health situation.     my son has been watching veggie tales all his life. he really doesnt have a favorite bc he loves them all. they keep him company while he is in the hospita. he sings the song jr mom sings before he is put to sleep during every procedure. this would be an awesome win bc he will be hospitalized for three months

    We gave away all our Veggie Tales when my son outgrew them but now we are foster parents and have little ones again. The one line that my husband still sings in the morning with our little ones is “oh where is my hairbrush.” I have no idea which episode it is from but it has stuck with us.

    I love love love love love Veggie Tales! When my hubby and I were dating he didn’t quite get it, but now that we have a 2 year old he watches the videos with our son and even sings along. My personal favorite is “The End of Silliness?”, but my 2 year old hates the Cheeseburger Song and makes me fast forward it every time.

    Let’s do a story on Rhoda who answered the door when Peter was miraculously let out of prison… we could weave a story in there about the persecuted church abroad. I am always looking for ways to help my kids see great heros of our day serving God like heros in the Bible.
