    For some reason, my kids love the fluoride rinse. It helped to get them in the bathroom to get their teeth brushed :)

    I tell them not to brush their teeh, works evertime, they race to the bathroom to brush!

    One tip for teaching kids good oral hygiene habits can start by getting them a toothbrush/toothpaste with the characters they enjoy. (My nephews fave is Spongebob.)

    Another tip for teaching kids good oral hygiene habits would be to have the kids brush their teeth at the same times you brush yours. This will teach routine and also show an example of how long to brush their teeth.

    When I was a child, my mom had bought these plaque tablets that were made to be chewed after brushing your teeth. They were said to show the spots missed in brushing and encouraged children to go back brush more thoroughly.

    My tip is making brushing their teeth fun by singing the brush your teeth song (goes the row row your boat tune).

    We keep a small egg timer in the bathroom to make sure teeth are brushed for long enough.

    We use the Inspector Hector mouthwash that turns the plaque blue so the kids can see the “yuckies” on their teeth. Ever since we started using it, they take a lot more time carefully brushing every little spot!

    I show my children some picture of how bad their teeth can get if they don’t take proper care of them.

    I teach my 4 year old twins to sing their ABCs twice while brushing their teeth so that they brush for long enough.

    Remember those red tablets that you chew after brushing to show the areas that you’ve missed? I think it’s great feedback to kids.

    I have a timer for the kids to use in the bathroom while brushing teeth and washing hands. Teaches them the correct time to do it to make them clean.

    I don’t have kids, but I know for hubby and I, good dental care is all about a routine and never ever having an excuse to change the routine.

    I’d buy their favorite flavored paste and power toothbrush and teaching them to regularly brush by leading by example.

    I showed my daughter pictures of what her teeth will look like if she doesn’t brush (I may have used the fear tactic and I MIGHT have used an internet picture of a meth addict’s teeth…i’m just saying “might have”) but now she brushes her teeth faithfully everyday. Is that bad parenting?

    My kids brush there teeth with neem sticks. Imported from India. this is the most healthy, natural and authentic tool available for brushing. This is fun and they have something unique to brag about!
