I first heard of Gutzy Gear when I met them at BlogHer this year and I fell in love with their product right away!  So when they approached me about doing a review, I knew the perfect person to let you know what they thought – my VA’s daughter!  She’s school age and has plenty of friends to share it with.

Gutzy Gear are Velcro straps that attached to your child’s backpack, messenger bag, suitcase, guitar strap and more.  Your child can customize their strap to fit their personality with all kinds of Velcro patches that attach directly to the strap.  There are actually over 100 patches to choose from, each with a fun, unique design to show off your child’s personality, favorite foods, etc.  They even have patches with Marvel Comic Superheroes, Monster High and more!  And since they’re completely removable, they can be traded at any time like collector’s items.

Ellie’s friends had so much fun picking patches that suited them and bartering with each other for something else until everyone was content with their design!  They played Gutzy Gear Bingo to win another Gutzy Gear patch of their choice and even took a stab at creating one of their own.  It’s been fun to walk up to school and see them all with their straps on their bookbags, each reflecting their own personality! 

Gutzy Gear can be ordered online or you can look for it in select Target, Walmart, Kmart, Toys R Us and Office Depot.  We found some at the Walmart near us right by the backpacks!

    Marvel Kawaii Art Collection Patches 2-Pack – Captain America and Iron Man.
    My son loves Iron Man and Captain America. They are his favorite Super Heroes. :)

    I think the cupcake patch would reflect her personality the best…but there were alot to choose from it was hard to pick.

    I took a look at their website and the Kawaii Marvel Heroes patches are adorable and my son would love them! He is obsessed with anything superhero and the deco would really give his backpack that extra oomph :) Thor and Captain America are adorbz.

    I would have to say that my son would like the Spongebob patch. I personally like the cupcake, but I don’t think he would go for that!!
