Well we have done it, my eldest daughter has graduated up to a Booster – The BRITAX FRONTIER 85 SICT. If you have been a long time reader, you probably have seen how Britax has been with our family for awhile now and nothing makes me more confident than the safety and comfort this company has brought to both my girls over the years.

For the past 2 1/2 years, my daughter has ridden in the luxury of the Britax Marathon. When making the transition to our new Frontier, I wanted to get my daughter’s thoughts. I, as a parent, knew the many features I liked in Britax, but as a regular rider – I wanted to know what she thought. She especially liked how the seat was less like a “car seat” and more like a booster transition seat. It made her feel older (after all it was given to her on her birthday). She also was very excited about the two cup holders. They were a nice addition from the last car seat (a Britax Marathon.)

    Ohhhh, I have wanted this seat for so long! So excited for this giveaway! My FaVoRiTe feature is the harness on it. I looked for a booster seat for my almost 3 year old. She’s not big enough for a high back booster, but with this seat she can have the comfort of the booster with the safety of the harness! We will never need another seat!

    My favorite feature is that you can harness to 85 lbs. Both of kids are close to the 100% in height and weight and its good to know thete are excellent seats for higher harness weights.

    My Favorite is : Unlike traditional boosters, there also is a 85-pound Five-Point Harness Seat Capacity allows your child to remain harnessed up to 85 lbs. Once older, place your child in booster mode to 120 lbs..because it means your child will be able to use the car seat for quite some time which is a big bonus :)

    I think that the color coded vehicle belt guides on the Britax Frontier 85 SICT are a very nice feature.You can have a car seat for protection but if not properly installed in the vehicle it would be worthless.Their are many times that people have car seats in their car but are not properly connected right inside of the vehicle which is scary when you think about it. Them babies are too precious :)

    I LOVE how versatile the seat is! You can have the comfort of the 5 point harness but as your child gets older you can upgrade to the seat belt positioner.

    Other than the obvious safety provided, my favorite feature would be the straps not getting tangled! That was like music to my ears when I read that! I’ve got 3 yr old twins & (a 5 yr old & 1 on the way), so I’ve spent way too much time untangling straps! That feature would be a sanity saver for me! I like the easy to remove cover too!

    When searching for my daughter’s car seat I never thought of getting anything other then a Britax for her to have in both mine and my husband’s car. The peace of mind it gives me is priceless!! My favorite feature that the Britax Frontier 85 SICT has is the True Side Impact Protection. Not only does it give head protection in the event of a crash, but also gives you’re little one a place to lay their head when they have had a hard day playing and fall asleep on the drive home. I also really like that it converts from a harness booster to a belt-positioning booster seat. Overall I think Britax is the only way to go!

    I follow you on Facebook. I love Britax products, but have difficulty affording them. Our daughter who just turned 3 now weighs 25 lbs!!!! So, this would be perfect for her and grow with her. She was born 3 months premature and weighed just over 2 lbs. at birth. Because of this, I am always concerned with safety — she’s come a long way and nothing is more important to us than knowing she is safe in a vehicle.

    I love that it’s approved for air travel. Living so far from grandparents, air travel is the only way we can see them. And I often travel alone with 2 kids and a baby. Being able to “tie them down” to a seat would make those flights much easier on this mommy ;) Airplane seat belts aren’t meant for restraining 2 year olds! Don’t get me wrong, I love my kids to have freedom – but in a tight space it’s nice that they can’t crawl and wiggle around everywhere when I have 3 kids to watch alone ;)

    My favorite feature is the peace of mind I feel keeping my boys in Britax. All of the amazing features combined put my mind at ease. We currently have one Marathon and one Frontier, have been saving up to buy a second Frontier, and every time we get in the car my boys fight over who gets the “black seat” (the Frontier) because they feel like big boys in this seat.

    I love this Booster Seat because it’s a Britax. I have had Britax car seats for both of my children and their durability and strength is unmatched. They have survived 3+ years of infant/toddler beat up and a car accident.

    I LOVE britax in general; especially how safe and durable their products are. I love the feature of Lower latches for installation. This really helps my husband and I save time. We could only afford one car seat and britax ones can very easily be put in and taken out of our 2 vehicles.

    I set up a littlr pool outdoors and filled it part way with hose water, and then must have made 30 trips from the bathroom bringing out buckets of hot water so my baby would be comfortable in her first pool experience and she had a great time!

    Hi! I follow you on facebook and I love britax!~ I havent tried the booster yet and my daughter is just about ready to make the switch. Most boosters DO NOT have a 5-point harness…they just use the seatbelt…and that just doenst seem safe enough for my PRECIOUS cargo! So happy to see there is an option now to get a booster with a 5-point harness. THanks!

    I love the easy cleaning option. Whenever I have to clean my childs car seat, it takes a long time to tear apart the seat to get the pad off. It would be great to have a seat where you dont have to tear apart all the straps.

    Wow! I cannot believe this giveaway! This is the exact seat that we are wanting for our oldest (she will turn 7 in 8 days!). We have 3 daughters and have used Britax with all of them!     My favorite feature of the Britax Frontier 85 is how safe it is for my daughter. As a preemie, my daughter was born 11 weeks early and as such I, like any mother, go to great lengths to make sure she is safe and protected. This seat truly seems to be one of the safest car seats on the market. Also the fact that she would be able to use it until she is 85 pounds would be wonderful, considering she will be able to use it for a bit longer than most.

    I love britax, they are in my opinion the safest car seats out there. We have the marathon for my youngest and I would love the booster for my oldest, right now we have a graco booster, which isn’t very comfortable for longer trips.

    I absolutely love the safety features that the Britax Frontier offers. We were in a bad rear in crash 2 years ago and at the time my son was in his Britax Marathon. That seat literally saved him from flying through the windshield of the truck. Once he was big enough to move up, I only looked at 5 pt harnesses and the Britax Frontier could not be beat for it’s safety. I cannot put a price on my son’s safety and when he is in the Britax Frontier, I know that he is safe and secure which is a huge piece of mind. If I could, I’d keep him in it until he’s 120! :)

    My favorite feature of this seat is the WEIGHT LIMIT! Its so important to keep our kids as safe as possible for AS LONG as possible, and the 85lb weight limit does this! Safety for many, many years!!!

    Wow, those look great. First and above all I love all the safety features and I also like the Harness-2-Booster converts to a belt-positioning booster seat! I so need one of these – she rides with me to work everyday (an hour each way!)

    Another favorite feature is simply the fact that it is Britax! My friend had a Britax carseat that clicked when the harness was perfectly snug, but the clicking feature malfunctioned. She called the company, and they replaced her carseat within 3 days! Now that’s good customer service!

    My favorite feature of the Frontier 85 SICT is the ability to keep my daughter harnessed up to 85 lbs. This is amazing! I have not found another seat that has that high of a harness weight limit. My daughter is a big girl. She just turned three and already is in a size 5 clothing for height and weight. So Keeping her harnessed is important because she will be at that weight at a younger age.

    My favorite Britax Frontier 85 SICT feature is that it goes from a harnessed seat to a booster seat. I love that you are able to keep a child harnessed for longer than your average child seat.

    I have looked and looked at car seats for my almost 3 yr old. My favorite thing about this seat is the low profile. She is getting heavy enough it would be nice to not have to fully lift her up into a seat. She’s nearly big enough for a booster without a harness, but has a few years to go. This seat would give us the feel of a booster, with all the safety of a car seat. I have watched it for a long time, but the price has never come into our range.

    OMG! What a great carseat & to win it even better. My grandson Bradley has a old handy down carseat he’s 2 and this would be awesome for him. I’m really concerned about his safety. His mom is a single parent & I have 3 other grandbabies 1,2 & 3 yrs old. So if you choose us it would be a blessing for Bradley to ride safely & comfortable. Also, the colors are fun for a boy too.
