I am excited to share with you the impressive features of the Britax Chaperone Stroller.

I chose the March of Dimes Walk to give this stroller the ultimate test drive.  I must admit that the features of the Chaperone Stroller really struck me.  My first impression of the stroller was frustration (not a good way to start a review, huh?) Once it was put together, I looked all around for a place to close this structure. I could not figure out how to collapse it. There were no red buttons, no signs that read press this and pull that.  In pure desperation, I had resolved to place the stroller in my trunk open – no need to close it, right? It was when I called my husband on the phone.  He had put the stroller together the night before and surely knew the answer. He chuckled and asked me to look at the seat.  Right there in the middle of the seat, there is was clear as day. This frustration actually turned into my favorite feature of the stroller. I can fold the stroller with one hand. Simply pull a tab in the center of the stroller (after lifting the snack tray) and there you have it!  The stroller I have had for a few years requires me to twist, press, and bring together at the same time. A true challenge.

So at the start of the walk, I placed my 7 month in the stroller.  She currently is in a stage where she wants to sit up to see everything but she doesn’t have the support to not fall over. The five-point harness was perfect for her age. She was snug and secure. Also appreciated by myself, was the large canopy to block the elements, namely the Florida sun.  During the drive, a characteristic that stood out was the all-wheel suspension. The stroller has serious give (as seen in the video HERE.) I wheeled the stroller on the street covered in asphalt, but also tried the wheels on the side of the road with risen tree roots from the canopy foliage above.

My last favorite feature is that the Chaperone Stroller is a great travel system. Britax has the Chaperone Car Seat which goes easily from the car to the stroller.  As someone who is not an owner of this particular piece, I was happy that the stroller included an adapter strap that allowed it to become compatible with my daughter’s car seat.

    What an incredible stroller (and great review)! I appreciate that the stroller reclines to 3 positions, and includes an adjustable calf rest– oh how many times have my 3 girls rested awkwardly in a stroller! We could desperately use a new stroller for our 4 month old as she’s the recipient of items that have already been used by her 2 older sisters, including the current stroller whose tray table is bent. Hope this is a winning entry :)

    I became a fan and a friend of Frugal Couponing as well as a fan of Britax. My daughter has had a Britax Roundabout carseat since she was born and I marvel at the efficiency and styling. We, unfortunately bought a very small stroller instead of a travel system and it is now on its last legs, literally. Britax is known for its high safety standards. As a i parenting media winner and being JPMA certified, I can trust my precious cargo in this stroller. In addition, I would certainly enjoy the one-hand fold with chassis lock feature. I suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome and thought the original crickety stroller would be more efficient for me but I’ve had to strain just pushing my two year old in it!

    My current “around-town” stroller is a seeminly simple umbrella stroller; it takes two hands, a foot and some grunting to close; I love the idea of one-handed folding. My tall husband has to walk like a humchback to push the umbrella stroller– so the adjustable handles sound terrific.

    My daughter has really sensitive skin so I like the feature that states it has a large canopy with visor that blocks wind, rain, and harmful UV rays. This would allow me to get out more with her and walk to try to do away with my extra baby weight that doesn’t want to leave :-)

    I think that the all-wheel suspension sounds like heaven! I have tried two different strollers (not Britax) and the steering is horrible. We have started walking as a family in the evenings, and this would be an amazing help. Also, I am just 5 feet tall, but my husband is 6 feet, so the height adjustment feature would be greatly appreciated.

    I love the 3-Position Recline with adjustable calf rest that offers customized sleeping positions for children. I find that kids start to slouch when sleeping in a stroller and this would make sleeping in the stroller more comfortable.

    My favorite feature is actually the same as yours! I love that you can collapse it in the middle with just one hand! I have one of the strollers that you have to twist the handle and push up the bottom at the same time, its so frustration. When I took my daughter for her 2 week check up, I went alone and like you my husband put it together. So, I had no idea how to close it, here I was in the pouring rain with a not so happy 2 week old trying to close it, needless to say I did what you did, and put in it back of the trunk open! he he ;)

    I love this stroller. I like the fact that there is a 3 position reclining seat but I really love the one-hand fold-up. How easy can that be? My new grandbaby (due in Sept.) would be “stylin'” in this stroller!

    What a great giveaway! The feature I like is the Adjustable Height Handle. Many strollers do not have this. This would be great for when my husband pushes the stroller as many are on the shorter side for him.

    Wow, there are truly so many features that make me Love this stroller. The one hand fold is a fantastic feature. It’s tough when you have a million things going on and this would make life a lot easier. The adjustable height handle is also great because my husband is taller than I am. I love that UV rays are blocked by the large canopy, especially since our baby has sensitive skin. I have to say one of my favorites is the Large under seat storage that can be used even when reclined. So many strollers offer very little storage that is impossible to even get to. So, this is a HUGE plus! Wow, this is actually a stroller that I would LOVE to have!! Hope to win! Thanks for the opportunity.

    I love this stroller! I have a 7 month old baby and I dont have a stroller so this would be amazing to win. I have a snap and go but she will be out of her carseat soon.     my favorite feature is the open under stroller storage bin. this stroller looks very similar to the peg pergo p3 which I have…but the peg’s storage is very inaccessible and so I love the openness of the chaperone’s.

    I love the 5-point harness system, I think that’s so important for little ones. And the adjustable height handle is such a fabulous design! I couldn’t believe how fast she folded it up. She just grabbed the pull in the middle and immediately started walking down the stairs with it. It really caught my attention.

    I love the pull cord collapse as well, how convenient!! Being a mom of two and trying for the 3rd those little things really REALLY make the difference in a moms day :) Am I right ladies (and some daddy’s too i’m sure)!

    I’m small, so the fact that it folds up easily is a HUGE plus for me! I always fight with strollers- they always seem bigger than me! Plus, since my husband is 11 inches taller than me, adjustable handles are a great bonus! Definitely became a FB fan. :)

    The adjustable height handle! I am tall and sometimes it’s hard to find a stroller that doesn’t give me a sore back from hunching over.

    This has to be a very good stroller. I have a Britax carseat for my baby and I love it. My favorite feature is the One-Foot, One-Motion Brake saves shoes and feet by pressing single pedal to lock and unlock both rear wheels.

    I love the canopy! Most strollers have a super small canopy and the baby gets wet anyway.

    I love the large storage area underneath. Too many strollers dont’ have room to put anything (i.e. diaper bag, purse, and everything else you have to carry).
