I was first introduced to Elf on the Shelf when I was teaching. Elf is a little guy that moves around the room. Using arriving around Thanksgiving, each new morning Elf is found in a new location keeping in eye on your children’s behavior for Santa. Paired with a book, this Elf is adorable for children.

I heard about Elf on the Shelf last year, right before Christmas. I found him at Border’s bookstore and was able to use a 40% off any item coupon to get him. This will be our first year that we get to use him. :)
