Download and print free reward calendars, like chore charts, from Chuck E. Cheese and return it for FREE Tokens:

1. Download and print the calendar from Chuck E.Cheese
2. Mark the days off with a pen or sticker as your child accomplishes their goals
3. Bring in the completed chart to Chuck E. Cheese and receive 10 free tokens as a reward

Note: You do have to purchase food to use the free tokens.  I suggest a small fry or another side if you don’t plan on grabbing pizza.

If you weren’t able to get to the FREE Dr. Seuss Event at Target yesterday, try to get to the one at Michael’s on Wednesday, March 2nd!  They too are celebrating Reading Across America and will have a Dr. Seuss Event from 10am-2pm.  They will have a reading time and kids can make bookmarks as well as other activities.  You can also access Dr. Seuss coloring pages and see all the craft items Michael’s offers before you go!

Head to Target on Saturday, February 26th for Dr. Seuss Story Time. I would call your local story to make sure they are participating before you go.  The event is from 9-11am and includes storytime, coupons and giveaways.  Last time they did this, mine was set up in the kids clothing area, so just look around or ask someone when you get there.

Perfect for holiday and gift shopping, their limited-time sales feature huge savings on best-loved and up-and-coming toys and brands for kids! I have seen Disney, KidKraft, Seasame Street, and more!  So far this week, they’ve had Hello Kitty, Cars, Littlest Pet Shop and more!  Featured more toward the younger crowd with some items toward an older generation, the sales are irresistible!  They have various categories like Apparel/Gear, Toys & Games, Electronics, By Age, etc. to make it easier to find what you want.

They also offer $10 to your account for each friend you refer who becomes a member and buys!  How great is that!  AND if you like them on Facebook, make sure to visit each Friday for a ‘password’ that could get you freebies and exclusive savings just for that day.

One item that The Big Toy Book let me try out was their product geared toward that older group of kids – a helicopter. My husband is like a big kid when it comes to toys and the Interceptor R/C Indoor/Outdoor Flight Helicopter by Interactive Toy Concepts is no exception!  This remote control helicopter says it’s age-appropriate for 12 years + and I would have to agree because it is a little difficult to drive.  While it is an indoor/outdoor device, I would recommend using it outdoors as learning out to drive it is a bit difficult in the beginning. With two thumbs requiring the work, you don’t want to test drive it near your precious lamp. Note: You can get this on The Big Toy Book right now.

We liked that it charges via a USB cable directly into a USB port instead of using batteries, so you can plug it into your computer to charge!  A remote control helicopter like this would burn through batteries!  It takes about 60 minutes to charge for the first time.  There are two flying modes: Normal and Pro.  We used normal (because we don’t consider ourselves pros!) and it flew very smooth and easy, besides the driving difficulties I mentioned above.

All in all, this helicopter is tons of fun no matter your age!
