What is Amazon Prime Pantry?

Amazon Prime Pantry is not going to be the perfect fit for every shopper, but it is something that will fit a wonderful niche. Like most things that come out of Amazon, it is slick, easy to use and fairly priced. If you have a need for this, Amazon Prime Pantry is probably going to be one of your favorite things about being a Prime member. Here are the details and what you need to know to determine if Amazon Prime Pantry is for you:

Amazon Prime Pantry is a shopping service essentially at it’s core for items that you generally would store in your pantry. You have a very easy interface that you can use to choose your items and each time you choose one, it adds it to what is called a Prime Pantry Box. This box can hold a pretty good amount of groceries and once filled, it costs you $5.99 to have it shipped to your front door. The system automatically determines what and how much fits into the box. Best of all, weight is not a factor in this $5.99 price. Watch your box fill up as you shop.

This is a pretty cool thing for someone that can’t get out and shop or simply wants the convenience of having some basic staples delivered on a regular basis. When you compare it with grocery stores that do similar things, you will quickly see that the prices are pretty good with Amazon Pantry Prime. The boxes do hold a ton of stuff and because it is pantry items, you need not worry about things going bad.

For what it is, Amazon Prime Pantry is a pretty good side note to Prime membership. It is not worth buying an entire membership for, but it is a nice add on if you are wanting Prime membership to start with. Don’t forget there are MANY benefits to Prime – Free Movies, FREE Music, FREE Shipping, FREE Cloud Storage. Plus you can put up to 4 people on one account.

For someone that is disabled or has difficulties shopping, this could actually be a wonderful deal. You can’t do it anywhere else for the prices they charge. Another good reason to like Amazon Prime Pantry is the fact that they have a wide variety of brands, bargains and promotions. The shopping experience could not be more relaxed and it is very easy to order your grocery budget and stay on point there. Because it keeps a running tally of both price and shipping costs (via box), it makes it super easy to spend exactly what you want and nothing more.

Another reason you might need Amazon Prime Pantry is if you live in a large city or crowded shopping area. Have you ever tried to go shopping for basics in New York City for example? The costs, hassle and frustrations alone are well worth an extra six bucks to have it all sent to your front door. Granted you have to plan ahead, but good shoppers do that anyway. Why not do it and not have to run around chasing bargains? Everything can be done right there from your computer.

The only real downside to shopping via Amazon Prime Pantry is the shipping charge and because it is so reasonable, even that is negligible. Signing up for this great service could actually end up being a guilty pleasure. Who would not want to shop for tasty treats in their pajamas without ever leaving their home?

Take a look at Amazon Prime Pantry and give it a try!
