Borax is something you can use for cleaners and other things around the house, but did you know you can use it for crafts, too? We found some items you can use with Borax to make cute crafts with your kids! We also have a big list of Borax Uses for Kids for you, too!

Do your kids love to make slime? You don’t need a kit for it! Grab this big bottle of Elmer’s glue to make slime! Mix water and Borax together, and combine that with your glue and food coloring – easy slime!

You need mixing bowls to mix up your slime. If you don’t want your kids using yours, get them they’re own inexpensive bowls to use, like this Coleman 6 in. Enamelware Mixing Bowl.

You can make SUPER cool crafts that look like crystal when you mix Borax and pipe cleaners. Just add your Borax to boiling water, and put in your pipe cleaners to make them crystalize. There are so many things you can make like hearts, snowflakes and icicles. This big pack of 1,000 pipe cleaners will last you a while!

To make your crystal crafts, you need something to hold onto your pipe cleaner shapes. Attach your shapes to popsicle sticks with string or yarn so you can easily pull them out when you’re done!

You also need mason jars to make your crystal crafts. You’ll leave your pipe cleaners in the Borax mixture you pour into the jars to set. You can also use these jars to make crystalized jars. Just add Borax and food coloring to boiling water, put your jars that you’ve sanded in the water, and wait until they crystalize! They are SO gorgeous when they’re done!

Do your kids love Floam or Playfoam? Make your own easily! Mix your Borax into very warm water, and mix glue with food coloring. Put these little styrofoam balls into a big Ziploc bag, and then add your Borax mix and your glue. Mix it all together until your Floam is ready!
