Giveaway | Oral Hygiene Package from P&G

As you know, I love P&G and all of their products!  This month, P&G wants you to sink your teeth into the new Crest® and Oral-B® Pro-Health® Clinical Plaque Control line – clinical protection you need for a clean and healthy mouth.  Hate that gross, gunky film that makes you want to brush your teeth? It’s not as innocent as you think – it’s called plaque and now there are products to help keep it from coming back and keep you smiling!

This new line-up includes:

  • Crest Pro-Health Clinical Plaque Control Toothpaste - helps protect against plaque, cavities, gingivitis, sensitivity, tartar, stains and bacteria that cause bad breath.
  • Crest Pro-Health Clinical Rinse - a clinical breakthrough that helps keep your teeth 91 percent clean of plaque for up to two months after a dental visit.
  • Oral-B Pro-Health Clinical Pro-Flex Toothbrush - has a unique design with flexing sides that individually adjust to teeth and gums to clean hard to reach areas and removes up to 93 percent of hard-to-reach plaque.
  • Oral-B Glide® Pro-Health Clinical Protection Floss

When used together, these products significantly reduce plaque, and help prevent it from coming back, so you can help maintain the clean you got at the dentist’s office.  Did you know that visible plaque begins forming on teeth 4 to 12 hours after brushing, which is why it is so important to brush at least twice a day and floss daily. The buildup of plaque can trap stains on the teeth and is also a primary factor in the formation of an early stage of gum disease, known as Gingivitis.

One tip for teaching kids good oral hygiene habits can start by getting them a toothbrush/toothpaste with the characters they enjoy. (My nephews fave is Spongebob.)

  7. Kristin Menard says:

Another tip for teaching kids good oral hygiene habits would be to have the kids brush their teeth at the same times you brush yours. This will teach routine and also show an example of how long to brush their teeth.

  8. Kristin Menard says:

When I was a child, my mom had bought these plaque tablets that were made to be chewed after brushing your teeth. They were said to show the spots missed in brushing and encouraged children to go back brush more thoroughly.

We use the Inspector Hector mouthwash that turns the plaque blue so the kids can see the “yuckies” on their teeth. Ever since we started using it, they take a lot more time carefully brushing every little spot!
