This easy simple charcuterie board snacks in a jar is a spin on the traditional charcuterie boards. It’s much easier, in our opinion! Great for the beginner, add this fancy mason jar snack to your next Wine & Cheese Party.

Simple Charcuterie Board Snack

Super Simple Charcuterie Board Meat & Cheese Snacks in a Jar

Charcuterie boards are everywhere these days. Go to Pinterest, and you can find thousands of ideas for making your own charcuterie board. We have made some fun snack boards in the past. They are super cool and very appealing to the eye.

But sometimes, I need an easier way to feed my kids. When they get hungry, you have less than 10 minutes to prepare something that is filling – and you know mama wants it to be somewhat healthy too! That’s why I have come up with a very simple charcuterie board idea.

Rather than getting out the wooden board and all the small bowls, all you need is a mason jar and some bamboo sticks or appetizer picks – whatever you have on hand. I have a list of ingredients below for meat and cheese snacks in a jar, but you can substitute other meats or sides depending on what the crowd you are feeling likes. You could also make an all-fruit snack in a jar, if you wish.

One simple charcuterie board jar can feed one adult or two kids, so make sure you make enough jars up for snack time!

DIY Charcuterie Board Ingredients:

A few simple ingredients make this small charcuterie board. Multiple ingredients as needed.

Charcuterie Board Shopping Lis:

  • Mixed nuts
  • Sliced pepperoni
  • Sliced salami
  • Mini pickles
  • Black olives
  • Cheese cubes
  • Babybel cheese

Other Materials:

  • Half pint jars
  • Bamboo sticks
  • Appetizer picks

How to make a Simple Charcuterie Board in a Mason Jar

How to build a Charcuterie Board:

  1. Fill each half-pint jar half full with the mixed nuts.
  2. Place each food on the bamboo sticks or appetizer picks.
  3. Put each stick inside the jar, using the nuts as a place for them to rest securely.

Save this recipe for later. Print your recipe and add it to your recipe box or recipe binder! This is my favorite Recipe Binder – I get tired of printing the same recipe over and over. A binder keeps me organized and gives me a place to store my recipes.

Sunday Habits for Busy Moms to Have a Productive Week

This post may contain affiliate links or ads. Read my privacy policy and disclosure policy here.

January 2, 2021 by Kecia Hambrick Filed Under: Facebook, Frugal Living, Hacks, Instagram, Pinterest, Printable, Social Media Leave a Comment

These Sunday habits for busy moms will help you stay productive all week long!

It’s no secret that moms lead a busy life. Whether you have one child or four, stay at home or work outside of it, there is always a list of things you need to do. And those lists never seem to completely go away. You mark off four tasks, and suddenly two or three more come up.

In order to stay (somewhat) on top of your busy schedule, you need to stay productive. You can do this by establishing good habits on Sundays. A typical calendar may start a week on Sunday, but most feel that Monday is actually day 1 – Monday is the first day of a new work week and it’s when the kids go back to school after the weekend, etc.

Sunday Habits for Busy Moms to Have a Productive Week

Productive Habits on Sunday for Busy Moms

There is a good bit of “planning” and “doing” that should happen on Sundays if you want your week to go well. Let’s look at what needs to be planned every Sunday.

Sunday Planning

  • Goals
  • To-do list
  • Meals for the week
  • Outfits
  • Family budget
  • Exercise

Where can you keep all these plans? In The Busy Mom Binder of course!

The goals can be for yourself and for your family. Do you want to declutter the attic this week? Make a plan! Maybe little Johnny needs to sell 25 more candy bars for a fundraiser. Make a plan on how he will do it! Use the goals to help make your to-do list for the week.

The rest of the planning is self-explanatory, but deciding on these things on Sunday makes the entire week run smoother. No more washing clothes the night before your child needs to wear something specific to school the next day. No more “what are we having for dinner??” every night either!

Sunday Doing

With your planning finished, it’s time to do some things to prepare for a productive week. Here are some things you can do to lessen your weekly load.

  • Grocery shopping and meal prep
  • Clean and organize home
  • Clear out your email inbox
  • Wash and put away laundry
  • Go for a walk
  • Practice self care
  • Go to bed early

Doing these tasks ahead of time removes a lot of the guesswork or late-minute busyness that may come during the week. Meal prep can save you 30 minutes or more of standing in the kitchen on a busy Tuesday night. Doing up the laundry ensures everyone has fresh clothing to wear and that the planned outfits are ready to go.

To help you remember the important Sunday habits for busy moms, I’m offering a free printable list for my readers. This printable makes it easy for you to get all the Sunday tasks done so your week can be super productive. Print the list and keep it in your Busy Mom Binder or on the fridge – somewhere you will reference it each weekend.

I’ve also included a printable motivational quote from Mark Twain that says, “The secret of getting ahead is getting started.” These Sunday habits allow you to do just that. Not only are you getting started, but you are getting things done so that you can prepare for a smooth week!

I also have more Busy Mom Hacks if and you need them! Pin to Pinterest.

Disney World Bucket List Printable PDF in Pink and Purple or Red and Yellow

Disney World is probably at the top of most families’ “Must Visit” list, especially if they have small children. It’s one of the most visited vacation spots in the world each year, and it’s obvious why. Where else can you find so many characters from your childhood, so many delicious foods and treats, and so many fun rides and shows all in one place?!

There is so much to do in Disney World, you can spend an entire week there and still not see and do everything. That’s why we’ve created a list of the things you don’t want to miss on your visit. Couples. Friends. Solo travelers. Basically, anyone planning a Disney World vacation can benefit from this list.

And it’s better to print this bucket list for Disney World as you begin planning your trip, rather than waiting until you leave. That way, you can be strategic about the 20 items on the list to ensure you get them done while on vacation.

Christmas Movie List Challenge - Christmas Bucket List for Movies

Is your family the kind that puts their Christmas tree up right after Halloween? Okay, maybe not THAT soon. But if you like being in the Christmas spirit all December long, you’ll love this printable challenge!

Countdown to Christmas Movie Challenge

On this free printable you will find many of the most loved Christmas classics. Treat this as a Christmas movie bucket list of sorts, your very own list of Christmas Traditions.

There are 25 movies listed, so you can watch one per day or save up a few for each weekend. No matter how your family decides to watch these films, you are guaranteed to be in for some heartwarming moments and lots of laughs!

Example movies you’ll find in the Christmas Movie Challenge include:

  • The Polar Express
  • Jingle All the Way
  • Christmas Story
  • Christmas with the Kranks
  • A Christmas Carol
  • Scrooged
  • Elf

There really is something for everyone on this list. Many are great for families to watch together. If you find one of the list that you don’t think your family would like, change it out for a guaranteed favorite.

It would be great if you find some new favorite holiday flicks after completing this challenge though.

What You Need for this Movie Challenge

Okay, so really and truly, the only things you need are a TV and the DVDs of each film (or the ability to stream them to your TV). However, nothing says it’s a Christmas movie night like the following:

  • Cozy Christmas pajamas
  • Cute Christmas mugs
  • Buckets of popcorn for everyone
  • Hot Cocoa with lots of marshmallows
  • Comfy holiday blanket

With all of these items on hand, it’s sure to be a great movie night. Plus, turn off the lights and watch the movie with the light of the TV and Christmas tree only for a true cozy holiday feeling.

You can also share these movies with friends and loved ones. Each weekend in December, host a family movie night. Show one or two films off the Christmas Movie Challenge printable. Everyone will love the time spent together and watching some of their favorite holiday movies.
