Are you a Bank of America card holder? If so, the first Saturday of each month, visit a museum for FREE. This is for Bank of America card holders only. At least one member of your family will be granted FREE admission. Given your children likely do not have a card look for museums with reasonable child prices or where children get in FREE. For a list of museums and more details go HERE.
Thanks, Amy.

I heard from MANY of you on Facebook that school has begun! If you are a teacher, or your child has a teacher this FREEBIE is a must. It sets the year of right, lets the teacher know you care, and are thinking about her/him for the start of the year. Use this link and head to Vista Print.
Teacher send out many notes during the year, notes to parents, other teachers, or even to your child perhaps to encourage them or thank them for something. These cards usually come OUT OF THEIR pocket.
Head to Vista Print and scroll about the adorable 181 education themes for FREE Post Cards. Since the set comes with 100.
Teachers, if you buy as welcome notes, you will have years worth of note cards to welcome kids.
Make one for your teacher – if you don’t know his or her name, just put the school name on it (perhaps the school year too!)
Get FREE Post Cards HERE.
Note: Shipping is $6.50 for me, I am splitting mine up with my children’s teachers. 50 cards for each, thus I am making a generic card with a “Learning is Fun Saying” and the school year.

This deal is still good! Update based on comments from my first post: It appears that you can link to the Teacher Store from the main Scholastic Store link via Ebates (just click on Scholastic.com top right or all the way down at the bottom) and then click on Teachers and select Teacher Store. However, this opens a new window with a new url, so I’m not sure if at this point you will still get your cash back for shopping through Ebates. Also, you will need to indicate that you homeschool to get these sent to your home and not a school.
If you just go straight to the Scholastic Store, click on Scholastic.com at the top or bottom and then Teachers and Teacher Store. Scholastic’s Teacher Store has some amazing deals for you! You can get 50 books with a value of $250 for just $50 by using coupon code SDE at checkout. There are three different collections with this great value:
K-2nd (or search 50-Book Collections Grades K-2)
3-4th grade (or search 50-Book Collections Grades 3-4)
5-6th grade (or search 50-Book Collections Grades 5-6)
If you do get credit through Ebates, you’ll save another 5%, bringing your total for each collection to just $45 – less than $1 per book!
I really wish I had enough room for all of these! This is actually another great gift idea! Think of how many gifts you could give with 50 books!
