you might want to read a sampling of the *1,284* 1 * comments before buying one…. Titles like “AVOID AT ALL COST! ” and “DO NOT BUY THESE FAKE CHARGERS ” come up a lot.
In other words, they’re cheap yes, but they don’t seem to always actually *WORK* so perhaps shilling for the fake cords isn’t a good move for the frugal people? As you’ll just have to buy new ones.
That said, I’ve bought several over the past years, none of them have worked for syncing an Ipad1, but they all have allowed charging, for at least a few weeks…
