Going to the doctor, dentist or even getting a hair cut can be intimidating for a child. Creating an environment that is friendly, warm, and captivating can make this process something children find entertaining and fun.

Cool Cuts 4 Kids, the nation’s largest salon chain for kids, boasts about their kid-friendly atmosphere and their specially-trained staff. Cool Cuts 4 Kids stylists are trained to work with children’s temperament, sensory sensitivity, and special needs. While waiting for a hair cut, your children can warm up to their new setting with their special entertainment zones. Engage your child with movies, video games, and more.

If this is your child’s first hair cut, Cool Cuts 4 Kids gives you a certificate with your child’s lock of hair to create a lasting memory. You also can grab one of their magnetic picture frames to place that “first” experience in your home – don’t forget your camera!

What makes a great experience is a great environment. My son would love to be around friendly people and lots of fun bright things. Having a tv would definately help to distract him.

For us it is being comfortable and distracted! The fun cars, the movies, the promise of a sucker for good behavior. Plus mom is always happy when she gets out of there without emptying her wallet!!

  9. Great experience would be when my son is calm enough to not move his head… we always leave with a cut much shorter than originally anticipated because he moves so much! I think if he was well-distracted with fun surroundings, this might not happen as much!

  10. We love cool cuts! My kids love the video games and extra attention.

  11. Mom not cuting his hair makes it a great experience lol

  12. Getting them to sit still for the time it takes to get a cut .

Someone who knows how to deal with kids and is nice to them. Also someone who knows how to cut hair. The last time my daughter got her hair cut, it didn’t turn out so well. =( I guess she moved her head and so it was all lopsided.

  22. my son likes it=- if they cut his hair like daddy and my daughter likes for my son to hold her hand, other than that-they are happy about it
