Closed. Giveaway | P&G Crest Complete Kit

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my disclosure policy here.

This giveaway is closed. Congratulations goes to Brenda.

Have you ever had the dream where you lost or badly damaged your teeth? I often have that dream and I must tell you it is one of my worse nightmares. Did you know that one theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxieties about your appearance and how others perceive you.  That rings true for me! Teeth are some of the smallest items on the body but they represent and say so much about you. They tell a story!

P&G has released a NEW Crest & Oral-B Complete line! Included in their line are a collection of toothpastes, mouthwashes, toothbrushes and flosses

Crest Has Placed Some Tips on Setting Aside “Me” Time and Achieving a Great Set of Pearly Whites

Get Lost in Your Own Bathroom: Make a deal with your man: one night a week, he lets you take a break from it all, including getting the kids ready for bed. Use this time to do something simple, but nice, for yourself. Take a hot bath, paint your nails, use that new facial mask…just ensure that hour is all about you!

Look for Something Extraordinary in the Ordinary: Now that fall is upon us, set the alarm clock for 30 minutes earlier one morning each week. Get outside and take a walk – take a moment to look around and appreciate your surroundings and the peaceful calm of the new day. Let yourself see things you would normally miss because your mind is in a million places throughout the day.

Divide and Conquer: The best way to effectively brush your teeth is to come up with a strategy. Divide your mouth into “quadrants” and be sure to reach all four sections and spend equal time and energy on all areas of your mouth.

Out with the Old and In with the New: Replace toothbrushes every three months to maximize the cleaning efficacy.

Twice A Day Keeps the Mean Scraper Away: To brush your teeth correctly, spend at least two minutes brushing your teeth, both in the morning and at night.

So speaking of smiles telling a story, I recall an event one day where I had surgery on my chin. I had a small blemish that was removed by the doctor during a routine visit. A numbing shot was used and I lost feeling and movement in half my face. Starving and needed lunch, I headed over to the local deli to pick up a sandwich. Greeted by an adorable boy (I was young and single at the time) behind the counter, I tried my hardest to flash my smile and order my turkey sandwich. A crooked smile and broken English were all that came forward. Sign language with my hand did not help and I finally had to point to the meal I wanted. My meal quickly became an order to go because I could not face him any longer!

Do you have any embarrassing or awkward times where you tried to flash your pearly white smile? Any empowering stories?

Staples | B1G1 Scrubbing Bubbles -10 cans for as low as $.49 each!

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my disclosure policy here.

Staples had the Scrubbing Bubbles Cans – 25oz. on sale for B1G1 online but they are now out of stock!   You can head to the store to see if you can score the same deal there.  Here’s how it would have looked online:

Just put two in your cart and use code 32605 at checkout and you’ll get $3.99 off two. Order at least six cans and your the price changes to $2.99 each, BUT the promo code still takes off $3.99! This makes them less than a $1 each for 6 cans.

Now, there’s a store coupon for $5/$25 that you should take with you too!  Here’s what your deal may look like:

B1G1 Scrubbing Bubbles – 25 oz. $3.99 (or $2.99 for six or more)
Get 10 = $29.90
B1G1 takes off $14.95 ($2.99 per can)
Minus the $5 coupon
= $9.95 for 10 or $.99 each

If the B1G1 takes off $3.99 each like it did online, you would pay just $4.95 or $.49 each!

Thanks, One Frugal Chick
