Sam’s Warehouse is opening their doors to non-members THIS WEEKEND ONLY (Friday – Sunday)! During these three days, you will be able to shop and purchase at the member-discounted rates without being a member. No doubt they will surely try to get you to become a member while you’re there; but if you don’t want to, just be strong and say no!
Now, I know I don’t usually promote warehouse clubs for most grocery/household item purchases; but if you know the prices of items in the grocery store as well as the patterns of what items typically go on sale for dirt cheap and what items don’t, then you should be able to make some informed decisions on what are good deals at warehouses. For instance, I know the prices of bread at the stores I typically shop at. If it’s not on sale that week and I need it, I will get it at the warehouse for cheaper. The same goes for some produce, pet food, frozen chicken – this is based on my experience. Cereal is NOT cheaper. Toilet paper is NOT cheaper. One thing they are good for is electronics. The bottom line is that you need to know sale as well as non-sale prices of items you typically buy. And, if you don’t have space to store the amounts that you’ll purchase at the warehouse, then don’t get it!
I’ll tell you what is always a good deal – getting lunch there! $1 hotdogs and pizza and drinks works for me!
With that, have fun checking it out!
Don’t forget about the deals for college students HERE.

Head over to the Financial Peace University store to check out these items for over 40% off. Many of the resources are on sale; but for Back to School, they are highlighting these:
Financial Peace Jr. (kids 3-12) – $12
Junior’s Adventures (6 book set) – $29
Generation Change Leader Kit + 1 Student Kit (teens) – $99
Foundations in Personal Finance Homeschool Pack – $79
Also, many have asked me when I’m out with my envelope system if you can just buy that separately. Yes, you can. There are many different ones and I’m thinking of upgrading mine too. I’m sure Dave would love for you to go through the whole program; but having those envelopes really helps to keep on the cash-only basis! Look for those in the store as well.
Head HERE to shop now!
