I can officially raise my hand.  I had two babies within 16 months of each other and I converted to coffee!  I am now on the coffee bandwagon…and according to many readers comments in other posts, you are too! I actually don’t even have to necessarily have caffeinated, just a cup of decaf to start my day and get me moving is enough.  The fact that I can choose flavored, decafinated, tea, and many more options is actually what I love about Keurig. Recently, I was able to give the Keurig Special Edition Home Brewing System a try.  Keurig is obviously not the cheapest brewer on the block.  However, I must say doing the math it is definitely a good investment for the long  run.  A pack of 50 K-cups can go for as little as $15 on Amazon. That is $.30 a cup! Much cheaper that what you would find at your gourmet coffee drive through. With the average coffee cup around $3 (my estimation) and the retail price of Keurig brewers beginning at $100, just a months worth of skipping the drive through would buy you a Keurig.

In addition, Keurig is very convenient.  When you don’t think you have time to brew a pot – even just for yourself, with the click of a button, the brewer makes enjoying coffee very quick.  No drip, no mess! The variety in K-cups makes trying new flavors easier than buying by the pound.  Lastly, for the socially conscious, many of the K-cup varieties are Fair Trade, which is very important for coffee growers and their employees.
