New Year’s Resolution: Getting Organized/Saving Money

I first told you about the Coupon Magic Organizer HERE when I shared with you how to organize your coupons.  The Coupon Magic Organizer incorporates one of  the more popular ways to organize your coupons.  This particular method uses baseball card/photo inserts to organize your coupons by type. This makes navigating your grocery store easier than if you had all the inserts placed in a binder together. I was very impressed when I got my coupon organizer. Tania from Coupon  Magic Organizer has truly done the hard set up work for you!

There are many pros to this type of organizing. Bascially it is organization at its best. If done right, this system is very orderly and neat. It makes the coupons easy to navigate for finding a type of coupon you need.

Additional Pros…

  • When a coupon is about to expire you can see that immediately.
  • All your coupons are in one place.
  • All the “extra” paper in the Sunday inserts are recycled or thrown away. You do not have an abundance of extra weight due to paper that is not needed.

I’m embarrassed to say that I shove my coupons into a box, which does not work well or not. It’s too hard to find any particular coupon. I need a system badly!

I tried the binder and I end up just stuffing any coupon I come across into it. I keep saying I will organize it later and later never comes beacause it is such a time consuming task. So I can never find a coupon when I need it!

  7. Karen Schatz says:

I use a binder system for my coupons-writing the date on each individual page and then 3 hole punching them, separating by type of insert: Smart Source, Red Plum and PG. It doesn’t work for me because this can take a lot of time to get them sorted, date stamped, punched and organized. Also, my binder gets filled out with a TON of extra pages not needed, thus resulting in getting filled up a lot faster.

I am already subscribed to receive your emails.

I have a large bag with many organizers in it for my coupons. It is bulky and in the grocery store I have to have several organizers to put my coupons in. I have to stop in the middle of the aisle and search through them. It would be great to have a better system. My teenagers do not like to grocery shop with me because of my searching for coupons. HELP ME!!!

  9. Renae says:

I have a big envelope with smaller envelopes inside to help divide my coupons into categories. I doesn’t work very well. I often find a coupon when I get home that I could have used. My husband has a fit when I stop and search through everything – he doesn’t come with me too often! I get so frustrated trying to sort throught it all and figure it all out. I really do need some help getting them organized.

  11. Miki says:

right now my method is my purse. the reason i do it because its the only place my 4 kids and hubby wont touch. not the best way but its all i can handle for now.

  12. Heather S. says:

Currently I have my coupons in an index card box in alphabetical order based on the day the expire. While this is great when I am making my shopping list at home and only buying what’s on my list it makes things very hard in the store especially with two little ones and another one on the way. I can’t tell you how many times the box gets knocked over and all the coupons fall out

I get your emails! (and love them) I use the envelop system but I seem to either lose the envelops or the coupons fall out of them.

  17. Lisa says:

My coupon organizer is not organized and I would like to be able to see and utilize my coupons to their fullest potential:) I need to be better organized so when I take my 2 kids grocery shopping with me, I do not have to give the cashier ripped coupons b/c my 2 year old wants to help mommy:)

  18. Lisa says:

    I would really LOVE ONE:)

  19. Stephanie says:

I use an expandable file, but it never seems organized and is too easy to miss coupons in it.

  22. Lydia Landry says:

I coupon shop constantly. I very seldom do go to the store, without, my coupons. I use a coupon organizer, in my purse, when I go to the store, but I use a plastic container at home, with labeling. I feel my box is to big to carry to the store, but I sure would like an easier method, to bring my coupons to the store.

  23. Kelly says:

My current way of organizing is a file fold out that hides all of my coupons! It works good most times but sometimes, I realize I have a coupon but I already left the store !
