10 Hot Frugal Coupon Living Deals of 2009

by Frugal Coupon Living on January 2, 2010

Below are the top 10 deals found on Frugal Coupon Living in 2009.
In no particular order…

Canvas People – Who didn’t love the FREE 8×10 personalized, photo canvas? Some people who were needing a larger canvas, used the code to get $55 off the canvas size of their choice. We got a precious one of my older daughter this summer. If you missed out it is still available, see more details HERE. They also make pretty nice gifts.

Diapers.com - There were some great diapers.com deals this year. I don’t foresee this stopping in the future. With Diapers.com price matching policy, you are always guaranteed the lowest price. Highlights of the year are the Diaper Deal HERE (still available) and the Radio Flyer Wagon HERE (Something my husband and I are kindly asking Santa to take back – one can only take so many rides in a day -just kidding.)

The $.59 Leap Frog Alphabet Pal at Target – The rush that was created to Target over this hot deal. By combining a price match doorbuster deal from the Toys R Us flyer, using a store coupon, and a manufactuer coupon, the Alphabet Pal was reduced to a mere $.59! From this experience, we learned that Target will no longer do doorbuster deals, Target coupon prints are now limited online and many of the online coupons have turned to MFR coupons instead of SC making the SC and MFR combination harder. As seen HERE

Swagbucks – Searching the internet (as you would anyway) to gain points to redeem for swag! What is the point of not using it? Swagbucks helped to pay for a few of my purchases this year (mostly on Amazon.) Just to name a few, I picked up some cute ruffle socks ($5 on Amazon), some V-Tech laptop ($15), and a potty training booklet ($7) all with converted swag points to Amazon gift cards. Have you been swagging

Amazon Prime Trials – I probably did most of my Christmas shopping on Amazon this year. 1) I don’t have to hit the crowded stores 2) I can shop during off times 3) They had amazing deals and 4) FREE SHIPPING! We saw a couple deals this year where we were able to acquire FREE Trials of Amazon Prime. Prime allows you to get FREE two business day shipping. Go HERE for a current offer where you get a trial of three FREE months.

Holiday Cards and Labels – This holiday season we were baptized with the abundance of stationary deals! I am sure most of us were excited to get the FREE holiday photo cards from SeeHere HERE. Many of us also enjoyed the many perks of Vista Print – from holiday address and gift labels, tote bags, thank you notes, etc. I am sure your stationary is pretty well stocked. See current stationary deals HERE and photo deals HERE.

Blockbuster’s FREE 6 Week Trial – Going to the movies can be quite expensive. With the birth of Redbox and Blockbuster Express many of us were staying home with $1 movie nights. This summer Blockbuster blessed us with a 6 week trial of their movie rentals through the mail. If you missed out on this deal, don’t forget there is a current FREE 4 trial running HERE

Restaurant.com – I am pretty sure Restaurant.com had a pretty nice year. Almost every day had some sort of reduction in their gift certificates. Who doesn’t love $25 for only $10 or less? We saw the $25 gift certificate for as low as $1 once! Search HERE for current Restaurant.com promotions.

Bushnell Weather Forecaster - Some people broke even, some people made a $75 profit like I did. Walmart had the $99 Bushnell weather forecaster reduced to $50. With a $50 rebate this made this buy a wash or FREE. My particular store had them reduced to $25 and Bushnell still gave me the $50 rebate giving me a $75 MONEYMAKER. See the original post HERE and the follow-up post HERE

Victoria Secret Sweater Sale – Who doesn’t love Black Friday? This Black Friday, Victoria Secret gave us something we all could fall in love with – 3 sweaters and a scarf for $32. In addition, each package was guaranteed a gift card of at least $10 making this deal feel more like $22. One reader told me she got $100 on her card giving her a $68 MONEYMAKER! See more on this fun deal HERE

Well, did I miss any? What was your favorite deal for 2009?

Oh so many good deals this year. I personally loved getting the free Thomas the Tank Engine Trains from Toys R Us. I scored 4 of them I believe.
