Merry belated Christmas and soon to be Happy New Year! My neighbor called me and said that she was at Target and they told her they would take competitor’s coupons and expired coupons!! I couldn’t believe it! I first looked on Target.com’s website and it specifically stated they “do not” accept competitor’s coupons and referenced coupons are good until the expiration date. I then called Super Target and asked about it and they told me that in fact they “do” accept competitor’s coupons and they “will” take expired coupons!!! I am shocked! My neighbor has tried the competitor’s coupon and they did honor it. It was for Petco – $5 plus they tore off a coupon from the dog food of .75 and applied it!! This is in Lincoln, NE – not sure how many other locations may be doing it too!
I thought this was good news to share!! This is one up on Wal-Mart!! How about that!
WOW my target won’t even take more than one Target coupon, they think when the coupon says one per purchase it means one per transaction. I think I may call Target tomorrow, even if they don’t have that policy maybe it will make them read their coupon policy. Satisfaction either way.
