Target Price Match Policy

by Frugal Coupon Living on November 14, 2009

Target

Maybe in light of this awesome $.49 Alphabet Pal deal, Target found it necessary to update their policy to not match doorbuster. Many of your expressed your disappointment at running to Target to have a manger tell you this would not work. Here is the MOST RECENT Target policy. The $4.99 Hasbroz deal is still good today only.

Thanks, Texas Couponers Anonymous.

I went on Friday to Target in Redland, Ca. Had no problem they gave me the toy for 49 cents plus tax. So ir cost a grand total of 53 cents. My granddaughter will be happy on Christmas day.

I dragged my husband with me to Target on Saturday to pick up the Alphabet Pal and ran in to a lady named Jessica who had not read the caveat about bringing the ad to the store but I was able to share my copy with her. The pals will be given to a local charity since I do not need them. The funny thing was the look on the front end managers face – and the length of time it took to clear this deal. After multiple tries, I had to tell him what you pointed out – sell me the toy for the competitor price, THEN take off the Target coupon and I will owe you $.49. He kept saying that he couldn’t complete the transaction since he would owe me money. I was only sorry that my husband was getting frustrated… should have chosen a different opportunity to show him the delights of couponing. I was standing there wondering when Target would edit their coupon policy…to bad it came so fast….

I went to 3 different targets. the 1st one i bought 3 with no problems, the second was sold out, and the 3rd, WOULD NOT do it! it says in there policy that they do not match door buster ads, i read it my self! so was upset i drove that far to get such a great deal but i did score 3 at the 1st one!

Toys R us is also having another door buster deal for Mr. Potatoe head for 3.99, and on coupon.com they have a $2.00 off coupon, you can use at TRU. its no .49cent but it 1.99!
