I have a Publix store coupon I want to combine with a manuf.’s coupon. However, the store coupon says “May not be used in conjunction with any other coupon.” It seems like I have always come across this on Publix store coupons. That means I can’t add the manuf. coupon, right?
I have seen this recently with Publix coupons…I would ask the front desk before you shop.
I did ask the manager on duty and she carefully read the coupon and then gave (IMO) her opinion. LOL She didn’t seem 100% certain but I picked up another Publix advantage sale flyers and EVERY single one says this on them now! BTW, she told me that it meant we could not put a manuf with a store coupon if it said that. :S Maybe Publix is trying to get rid of those who double up, but for what reason, I don’t know; the manuf is repaid to them through the manuf. Hmmm…
Sorry I am a little late in posting this – but the 1 penny item this week was 1/2 gallon of Publix Sweet or Unsweet Tea
Regarding the Publix coupons and the wording – I wrote an email to their corporate headquarters requesting details about the coupon policy. The store manager at my local store called me. He told me that the wording doesn’t matter, they take both the Publix AND manuf’s coupons. He also continued to say that he will be passing out the most recent coupon policy to his staff so that he is certain everyone is informed. He told me that if I have any issues with anyone, call him personally.
I love Publix.
