I am working hard on getting emails answered, the Walgreens post up, and more deals for you guys. Thanks for your patience.

Today was a blur getting everything done with the refrigerator. We have to rent one for a month (out of our pocket) and then we had to pay a GOOD CHUNK of the new refrigerator…nothing of what I am excited about. I had to pay to get it here as soon as it could, fighting it at this point would only delay its delivery. I WILL put my typing skills to the test and write a letter to the President (and probably a handful of other departments) telling them of my concerns/frustration – basically my house was almost burnt down because of the recall and I am paying for a part of a new refrigerator. As I said today was such a blur that I TOTALLY forgot the refrigerator rental was coming to the house and showed up 45 minutes AFTER the initial time frame of the delivery…I pulled up to my street only to see them pulling away from my house (they had been waiting awhile and I honked and honked my horn. Thank God they kindly came back.) Poor guys…after making them wait for a long time, I then BEGGED them to remove my old refrigerator (they had to do it by removing two doors off the hinges to get it into the garage.) This clearly was not their job (they are a rental agency.) They saw my desperation. I gave them a good tip, though!

Recall – Refrigerator Update

Well the refrigerator guys came out and said that there definitely was a fire in the wires. The relay burnt the compressor (BOTH of the items that were recalled in the original recall.) The weird thing about this all is that we have been in this house for 4 years, had the refrigerator all along (it is even older than us being here – the previous owners had it) and never had a problem. It worked great and NEVER needed a repair. The DAY BEFORE the item was going to be fixed, it burned. It is unrepairable and just a few extra minutes/hours would have lit up the kitchen, house, etc. I am so grateful for God and his plans. THANK YOU GOD. While I was upset at the time that my new cell phone did not work out, HE lead me home.

Anyways, today my agenda has changed and I am going to be renting a refrigerator and dealing with Maytag about the replacement (they want me to pay for some of it which I do not find fair considering the thing caught on fire and almost burnt my house.) We will see what happens. I will work hard to get the CVS/Walgreens lists up today but my time will be stretched. I WILL have it out before the sales start.

What is Cellfire?

You might have noticed I have a new link on the top right of my site? Cellfire is a coupon resource that allows you to link coupons to your grocery card. The coupons subtract automatically when you buy the product – thus, scan your card AFTER you buy the product (I would do it at the end of ALL of your groceries scanning.) Realize that Cellfire does not work for ALL grocery cards. New coupons were released April 7, the next bath is released April 21.

Q: Do Cellfire Coupons double?
A: No, Cellfire coupons do NOT double.
.
Q: Can I use a paper coupon with a Cellfire coupon?
A: Though it may be possible, Cellfire does not encourage the use of a paper coupon with a Cellfire coupon.
.
Q: Can I use another electronic coupon (Shortcuts, P&G E-Saver, etc.) with a Cellfire coupon?
A: No, only one electronic coupon is allowed per item.
.
Q: If I’ve already saved a particular grocery coupon through the Cellfire site and/or Cellfire mobile, can I save it again from the ad?
A: No, if the coupon has already been saved, you will not be able to save it a second time.
.
Q: I accidentally saved a coupon to the wrong savings card. Is there any way to transfer the coupon to a different card?
A: No, once the coupon has been saved, it cannot be moved from card to card.
.
Q: My Cellfire coupon did not come off at checkout. What can I do?
A: Let Cellfire know by contacting Cellfire customer service through “Contact Us” on the Cellfire website. Your submission will be read in the order that it is received.
.
Q: I have two of the same coupon (with different expiration dates) saved to my account. Can I use both of them in one transaction?
A: No, the checkout system only allows one coupon code per transaction. To have your 2nd Cellfire coupon apply, ask the cashier to ring up your secondary items as a separate transaction.

Q: Can I remove a grocery coupon after it’s been saved?
A: Grocery coupons cannot be removed unless they expire or are used with a purchase at the store.
.
Q: How many grocery coupons can I save to my grocery savings card?
A: You can save up to 50 coupons to your grocery savings card.
