Sale + MFR + SC = A GREAT SAVINGS!

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my disclosure policy here.

I am getting a lot of questions about why I use many MFRs (manufacture coupons) per transaction. It is true, you can ONLY use one MFR per transaction.
.
The best scenario is always to use a sale + a MFR + a SC (store coupon.)
.
Let’s look at one scenario below of doing just this.
.
Schick Disposable Razors $6.99 – A Sale
$1 SS 3/8 - A MFR
$3 SS 3/8 - A MFR
B1G1 SS 4/5 - A MFR
$2
April IVC (page 9) - A SC (Walgreens Instant Value Coupon)
= $1.50 – $3.99 each - my total in a range
.
I have had a few emails about why I used 3 MFRs during this transaction. I didn’t. I most likely used the $3 coupon (if I had it.) If I didn’t have it because I already used it, or never got it, then I have 2 other coupons I can choose from. When I list my coupons, I am not sharing with you all the coupons I am using, I am sharing with you all the coupons that EXIST so you can choose what could works for your family. This is why my grand total has a range. The grand total depends on what coupon combination you choose.
.
I hope this helps clear any confusion. If not, please comment below and I will be more than happy to answer your question.

Corn Bread Sloppy Joes

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my disclosure policy here.

This delicious recipe comes from Melanie.
.
I have made something similar to these and I love them! In fact, I will probably make them this week. I have PLENTY of Martha White Cornbread in stock!

.
Corn Bread Sloppy Joes
.
Ingredients:
* Corn Bread- I use Martha White packets, but you can make home-made or buy Jiffy Box mixes, etc.
*Approximately 1 pound ground beef (I have used ground turkey and even ground deer in place of this.)
*1/2 cup chopped onion
*1 can sloppy joe mix (or spaghetti sauce and sloppy joe mix packet)
*Cheddar cheese
*Vegetables (I like adding corn, some black beans, green peppers, etc.)
.
Directions:
1) Make corn bread.
2) Brown meat and onion in skillet.
3) Drain.
4) Stir in sloppy joe mix/sauce and vegetables – I let this heat to a slow boil and then turn it down and simmer it for about 7-10 minutes.
5) Sprinkle with cheese and let it sit for a moment to let the cheese melt. Scoop onto corn bread.
.

WA-LA… a cheap & creative meal!
.
Thanks, Melanie!
